(may 1st & may 2nd)
One by one, Fallen Stars will leave the train by their own free will. With each stop, they step off onto a starry platform and feel their vision fade-
Then, with a blink, they're back in Starsand City. In a familiarly blinding instant, they have appeared in the city. Those that arrived with a business or house from the past will wake up there, but find that their old home is mostly bare. Only the furniture remains, while all personal items (aside from those claimed through Timeloop Customs,) have disappeared. Those without homes or businesses will wake up in a random part of the city.
As before, the civilians react with concern; They offer to help Fallen Stars find lodgings, food, and the other necessary elements for their comfortable survival. But no one in the city recognizes them. If they've arrived in a house or business, then their neighbors will react with shock and caution. They urge these people to talk to the Kami of Love and whisper fearfully about how they arrived with a whole house. But other than that slightly unnerving detail, the civilians are friendly... and oblivious to the timeloop.
This log is for May 1st and May 2nd, aka the first two days of the new timeloop. Regardless of when they got off of the train, all Fallen Stars will appear at midnight on May 1st.
Completely New Arrivals will also appear at exactly midnight. They will vaguely remember aa dark space with inky black water under their feet, where a distant voice apologized repetitively... But they will not be able to remember any further details at this time.
When exiting the train, Fallen Stars will feel their old exhaustion returning to them slowly over the course of the first hour.
There have also been some minor changes to the setting.
[It's Raining.] It will rain for all of May 1st and May 2nd. angst appropriately.
[Housing & Business Spirits] This element is new to Fallen Stars, though civilians of this timeline act like it has already existed. Some Fallen Stars will already have spirits attached to their homes, whose names are passed down to them. Others might have to name a fresh spirit, who has just arrived to take care of the home. It is up to players which option applies to their homes and businesses.
[The Cherry Blossom Tree on The Bottom Level is Back.] Previously, there had been a large tree stump where a tree once stood. In May of the first timeline, this tree became a Rumor and had to be cut down by the Fallen Stars. The tree now stands as it before, though there are no signs of it being a Rumor yet...
[Civilians are cautiously polite to Fallen Stars.] They don't have the same extreme respect and admiration as before. Their kindness is out of polite obligation.
[The Spacetime Shrine's door has a starry black frame.] The clear crystal frame from last year is gone. It remains dark and starry inside, like it was right before the timeline reset. The red door at the top is gone, replaced with a poor black and shut door.
[Wonderment Amusement Park is Gone.] The park that Fallen Stars saved in July has disappeared. What is left is a large, empty lot. Civilians will tell them that there are weekly markets held here, but the amusement park only comes for the month of July.
[The Train on the Bottom Level is in ruins.] It is once again covered in trees and rusted badly. The little Conductor kami is no where to be seen.
['Reblooming Season' has begun.] Reblooming is a Starsand tradition where, at exactly midnight every night, all of the fallen cherry blossom petals float backwards to their original tree and 'rebloom.' It's popular for people to have midnight picnics and watch this event. Because of this, there will be more civilians around to help than usual and businesses will be open much later than they might otherwise be.

The horrors of that other place will only manifest through you.

He can’t trust Speck, but if there’s even a chance that the past could repeat itself, he can’t let his dislike for them put everyone else at risk.]
What exactly are you trying to imply? Do you know something important?
no subject
Not as important as you’re hoping, I’m sure. Merely… a trick for those who travel between times and spaces.
Your past doesn’t exist here. You should leave it at the door and focus on your future. Your mortal life faces forward; Don’t resist it.

[Not again.]
Why bother to suggest that? What are you really aiming for?

Then there's nothing to worry about. I won't go mad, and Satou doesn't need your concern.

That would be wrong!!!
That doesn't stop him from storming up to them until he's practically in their face. Their eyes may sparkle like the constellations, but they just look so...empty. Elliot breathes out a laugh, his smile is bitter.]
Like I said, there's nothing to worry about. I don't need to be close to Satou to protect her.
