(may 1st & may 2nd)
One by one, Fallen Stars will leave the train by their own free will. With each stop, they step off onto a starry platform and feel their vision fade-
Then, with a blink, they're back in Starsand City. In a familiarly blinding instant, they have appeared in the city. Those that arrived with a business or house from the past will wake up there, but find that their old home is mostly bare. Only the furniture remains, while all personal items (aside from those claimed through Timeloop Customs,) have disappeared. Those without homes or businesses will wake up in a random part of the city.
As before, the civilians react with concern; They offer to help Fallen Stars find lodgings, food, and the other necessary elements for their comfortable survival. But no one in the city recognizes them. If they've arrived in a house or business, then their neighbors will react with shock and caution. They urge these people to talk to the Kami of Love and whisper fearfully about how they arrived with a whole house. But other than that slightly unnerving detail, the civilians are friendly... and oblivious to the timeloop.
This log is for May 1st and May 2nd, aka the first two days of the new timeloop. Regardless of when they got off of the train, all Fallen Stars will appear at midnight on May 1st.
Completely New Arrivals will also appear at exactly midnight. They will vaguely remember aa dark space with inky black water under their feet, where a distant voice apologized repetitively... But they will not be able to remember any further details at this time.
When exiting the train, Fallen Stars will feel their old exhaustion returning to them slowly over the course of the first hour.
There have also been some minor changes to the setting.
[It's Raining.] It will rain for all of May 1st and May 2nd. angst appropriately.
[Housing & Business Spirits] This element is new to Fallen Stars, though civilians of this timeline act like it has already existed. Some Fallen Stars will already have spirits attached to their homes, whose names are passed down to them. Others might have to name a fresh spirit, who has just arrived to take care of the home. It is up to players which option applies to their homes and businesses.
[The Cherry Blossom Tree on The Bottom Level is Back.] Previously, there had been a large tree stump where a tree once stood. In May of the first timeline, this tree became a Rumor and had to be cut down by the Fallen Stars. The tree now stands as it before, though there are no signs of it being a Rumor yet...
[Civilians are cautiously polite to Fallen Stars.] They don't have the same extreme respect and admiration as before. Their kindness is out of polite obligation.
[The Spacetime Shrine's door has a starry black frame.] The clear crystal frame from last year is gone. It remains dark and starry inside, like it was right before the timeline reset. The red door at the top is gone, replaced with a poor black and shut door.
[Wonderment Amusement Park is Gone.] The park that Fallen Stars saved in July has disappeared. What is left is a large, empty lot. Civilians will tell them that there are weekly markets held here, but the amusement park only comes for the month of July.
[The Train on the Bottom Level is in ruins.] It is once again covered in trees and rusted badly. The little Conductor kami is no where to be seen.
['Reblooming Season' has begun.] Reblooming is a Starsand tradition where, at exactly midnight every night, all of the fallen cherry blossom petals float backwards to their original tree and 'rebloom.' It's popular for people to have midnight picnics and watch this event. Because of this, there will be more civilians around to help than usual and businesses will be open much later than they might otherwise be.

People might see her dash right towards the elevator without a single care in the world. This might cause her to accidentally bump into others- although she tries not to- as she heads towards the elevator all the way to the bottom.
It's a long thirty minute wait, however, so if you're in here with her, maybe strike up a conversation? She's definitely feeling the exhaustion from running and everything that's happened within the last twenty-four hours.
Otherwise, once the elevator ride's done, she's making her way to the cherry blossom tree. She made a promise, after all. ]

He knows that he shouldn't be here. Yuuto tries to hide against the tree trunk and out of sight, even keeping his power use minimal; Which means he's tried not to let his tail move. But when he spots Inaba, Yuuto's gold eyes light up with pink magic and his tail begins to sway. He at least has the sense to run instead of teleporting.]
Inaba! You're going to make yourself sick!

The problem being, this one couldn't really be just a simple smile and nod. After Fauna brought up the giant tree, Ryoko felt like she had to go and give her respects. She didn't think she went to the elevator that fast, considering she might've caught Inaba instantly taking off.
So then, being in the elevator with her, taking the long trek down to the first level is...
...
She said she wanted to give Inaba a bit more space, to learn to understand her on her own terms. Moreso, she wanted to... give her the opportunity to not have to put on a brave face around her. That sure as hell wasn't going to happen now.
For maybe the first... three or so minutes, Ryoko doesn't really say anything. She doesn't know what to say, now that it's just them. Any apologies would result in the same as before, and she couldn't really ask if she was okay. This wasn't the right atmosphere to tease any further about how close she was getting to Yuuto again either.
...
She really has no idea what to say here...! ]

Raiden Mei | Honkai Impact 3rd: A Post-Honkai Odyssey
[Every step up those stairs was one taken, towards what she knew to be the most dangerous confrontation she'd known yet. Nothing had happened to her, or her companions, the whole time. It made her anxious. Wary. Guarded. She wanted nothing more than to end this fight and finally bring a close to that chapter. Even if the struggle ahead would be their roughest yet, it would have been more than worth it if they were able to bring an end to this.
...of course, she hadn't accounted for the odds that the last step she took would, in a blink, see her on a train car.
Had they been tricked? More importantly, were he and Carole alright?
...she couldn't say for sure if this was like that time. But Mei didn't have time to think. As the car arrives at its destination and opens its doors, the young principal steps out onto the platform...
And everything goes black.
...
It's not until after she's woken up, had her fill of the residents greeting her, and discussed the matter of her residence. It took a bit of thinking, but eventually she settled on Starsand's City Center as a good starting point for a home. As such, she'll be found out and about, contemplating which apartment to pick out for herself. One might even bump into her in the halls, at which point she waves at them with a steady smile.]
Hello. I hope I'm not interrupting -- can I ask some questions?
[II. And plant the seed we've ever promised]
[While she's waiting on her living arrangements to get sorted out -- she wasn't sure how long it'd be, just that there weren't too many worries about payment or the like -- Mei heads out into the city proper. It was better to have a good grasp of the lay of things while she still had whatever daylight that broke past the rainfall. Having 'bought' herself an umbrella for the trip, she can be seen taking in the sights, however marred they were by the weather; one could probably even see her face among people sitting in at a cafe or some other nice place to eat.
Either way, she seems fairly approachable, at least...? It wouldn't hurt to strike something up, would it?]
[III. We Shall Fight Forever [Wildcard]]
[If you have any ideas for how they can meet, toss them right over here or ping me on the Discord! I've been waiting so eagerly for a chance to bring this girl here and it's finally arrived.]
[II]
He steps out of the cafe and waves towards her.]

kana arima / 【oshi no ko】
And while Kana should honestly panic - after all, isn't this a kidnapping? Shouldn't she be worried? Instead, she goes full copium, clapping her hands together and speaking out loud with a bright smile. ]
Okay, okay, I get it. This must be one of those prank shows, right? You got me!
[ And so she laughs.
... And laughs.
And laughs. Until her proverbial mask cracks and she starts freaking out, making overexaggerated gestures in the process. ]

There's a lot here that frightens her. There's a lot to handle. There's a lot to process. So much from the inside of the building is gone, but- But that's not what's important. Reset. Time was reset.
She bolts outside- Her motorcycle is still there. Helmet, helmet- It's gone- She doesn't have time to get a new one. She transforms without a second thought, jumping on her bike and revving the engine to fly off.
... The Shrine of Love, might be having a normal peaceful morning. Or it was.
The sound of an engine roars. It's way too loud- It's far closer than any sort of engine should be able to get to the Shrine of Love. Until Fauna crests the stairs, having driven up the entire way herself, and doing a full Akira slide to a stop, leaping off.
She should be calm. She should wait and feel things out.
How can she be calm? After all... They weren't on the train. Does that mean they they... Could they have possibly... been erased?
The armored figure leaps off the motorcycle and lands among the mud and puddles without a care.]
Chron! Satou! Shugo! Mikale! Are you all right?! Please, say something!
no subject
Wait.
Even a motorcycle???
She hears the startled gasps of her staff and hurries out to check what's going on. Immediately, she can tell that Fauna is a Fallen Star, but... How does she know all of their names? No one should know that Shugo and Mikale live with her!]

Honestly, Tap wants to continue hiding. To hide away forever. To rest and recover. Rui gave her that robot- She could use Robo-Tap, and stay inside where it's safe...
... Safe? That's not safe anymore. And instead... She needs to do something. If no one knows what the Fallen Stars are anymore... She has to do something.
Even if all her abilities are only from a game... They're still real to her. And her time in the Facility proved it- Her way to help people is...
Later in the day, Tap can be found in an open area in the City Center. There's a minor hubbub and crowd forming, as Tap is now wearing her game outfit, the dancer outfit, and holding a sword in each hand. There's murmuring, there's nervousness, but also confusion... Until she begins to dance.
Her various rings and accessories jingle out a beat as she moves. Her swords periodically give trails of fire and ice, evaporating the rain over her head. She spins, she twirls, she leaps- And eventually, rises into the air, continuing to dance as she flips her swords, leaving her elemental trails as she tosses them and catches them, spins them, flips and dances nimbly across three dimensions. The crowd watches in awe, and confusion, as she gives the greatest performance she can.
After a few moments, though, she returns to the ground, and bows to applause.]

[Tau wakes up in her bed. Like it was all a dream, but being the Kami of Dreams, she knows better. Regardless, this whole last year...didn't happen? She shakes her head and walks briskly into the common area of the house. She doesn't want to worry her family after all, even though she is still frowning.]

[When Pidonus exits the train, she is alone... And not in a space she commonly goes. However, while she's in her usual outfit at first, she has hidden her demonic horns, wings, and tail.
She's down below where the spirits are allowed to operate. Magics are a bad idea here... And she's short on funds, too.
But... The tree is back. The first Rumor they fought.
Maybe they can save some that were lost last time.
For now, nothing to do but start heading upstairs. After shifting to a more local outfit, for now.
She's not normal, but she knows how to fake it. She can be found anywhere]
[2) It's Gone - Former Site of the Shrine of Sin.]
[Pidonus is just standing at where she'd worked for quite some time...]
Well. Um.
Now what?
[Someone could bother her to get her someplace at this point. Not like she has anywhere to be. Several hours of walk for... Less result.
She should've talked about a meet point with more people, huh.]

Rika Furude | Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni [ota]
[When Rika blinks, she's in a new place. No longer in the halls of St Lucia Academy, but standing in the middle of a strange city. The buildings are taller than she is used to and covered in glittering gems and there are cherry blossom petals falling backwards. Rain drenches her hair and uniform, forcing her to take shelter under an awning.
The dreaded feeling of repeating that awful cycle barely has time to take hold. This is too strange a place to be the result of a timeloop, and yet...
A name she hasn't spoken in years slips passed her lips;]
... Hanyuu?
(02)
[Once Rika has gathered her wits, she begins to explore the city proper. She isn't quite sure where to go, so she wanders the streets with a sleepy yawn hidden behind her palm. Sleep sounds nice right now. She's been awake since arriving at midnight, after all. But she can't very well sleep on a bench or something.
So she stumbles around the shopping district, half-awake. At least she's acquired an umbrella, but that doesn't solve exhaustion.]

[ One might expect someone who finds themselves in an entirely new world to be upset, or confused, or even annoyed that they were deposited into a rainstorm. Lilith, on the other hand, seems to be enjoying herself. It doesn't matter that she's soaked like a wet rat, this place has so many weird looking buildings, and Lilith has to see them all! She's meandering through the shopping districts, peering into the windows and commenting to herself as she does. ]

So she'll be spending most of her time trudging through the shopping district on the top level, searching for anything with a hiring sign in the window and stopping in to talk to the owners. She doesn't cut a particularly impressive figure being soaked with rain, and previous work experience including "fighting monsters" and "piloting weird spacecraft" don't exactly translate to retail, but she's doing her best out here.

[Elliot wakes up gasping and disoriented at first. He barely notices the chill of the rain, soaking his hair and his clothes while he takes stock of his surroundings, confirming what he already knew. His heart sinks anyway. It wasn't a dream.
It never is.]
Leo-
[He whispers his best friend's name. For a second, he panics, thinking Leo been taken too, until he notices the form lying next to his. There's so many things he wants to say and apologize about and find out...but right now, he just needs Leo to be awake so they can find shelter.
Not very gently, he starts shaking Leo to wake him up.]
Leo, wake up.
[II. Cat Cafe (Open)]
[Eventually he couldn't ignore his exhaustion. After confirming they were both homeless and had lost their adopted cat, Elliot has crashed with Leo at the cat cafe he used to work at as a barista. No one there remembers either of them, but the staff have been friendly and let them stay, especially with the unrelenting rain outside. Elliot may occasionally stand up to grab Leo something to eat or drink and may bump into one of the other Fallen Stars if they happen to have stumbled in, but for the most part he's remained slumped over the table, his head resting against the crook of his arm. He's lost track of how much time has past- it seems both to drag on yet not exist at all. He's not delusional enough to think that Melody somehow remembered him, but the cat has decided to plant herself next to him, curled up in a ball and occasionally rubbing up against him to get his attention when he zones out. He doesn't have the heart to ignore her, so he pets her absentmindedly while keeping an eye on Leo.]

Elliot?!
[It's like waking from a nightmare. Leo is so disorientated that he doesn't immediately realize that he's getting wet. But not even a second later, Jabberwock self-summons to protect them both with its large black wings. The sting of summoning a Chain helps sober Leo further and he puts a hand appreciatively on Jabberwock's leg.]

[Rui woke up in a different house than the one Shugo had made him last year. It left him panicked and disoriented, especially after being kidnapped so recently. Between Kaminyari and his new house spirit, Plato, he was able to calm down. Plato even suggested that he go to the Top Level to watch the reblooming as a way to relax. He didn't think twice about hearing the Platypus spirit speak until he had made it to the Top Level, and realizes that he could hear all of the spirits talking. They are softer than people, but he can hear them! No one else around seems to understand them though. Why just him?
He figures he can worry about that later. For now, he stands in the rain without an umbrella, watching the petals float back up to their trees]
This really is a nice sight.
II. Wonderment
[In the daylight, he takes a trip to the Wonderment Amusement Park. If it is still there, maybe he could perform, and have some semblence of normalcy. Except, of course it isn't there anymore. It won't show up until July. Instead, Rui's standing in an empty lot. At least this time he thought to bring an umbrella for the rain.
Still, Wonderment's disappearance hurt him deeply. He was so used to performing there. It felt like a little slice of home, even though it was different from Phoenix Wonderland. It had such a similar energy that he felt comfortable there.]
What a shame...But I suppose I'll see it again in two months...
III. Street Performance
[Rui is once again without an umbrella in the rain. But this time its because he's performing in the Shopping District of the Top Level, and he needs both hands to perform. He doesn't have his robots because of the rain and the timeloop, so he's truly doing a one man show. Its a monologue from the view point of his "eccentric alchemist" character that he likes doing shows about. His grandios gestures let people realize that he is performing, and not just a crazy person. At the end he bows.]
Thank you! Thank you! I'm Rui Kamishiro, and I'll be performing again soon, so keep an eye out!
III.
[A voice cheerfully yells from the audience. Kagami is also without an umbrella! But he's smiling and waving his arms, probably smacking someone in the face before he applauds at Rui's performance.]

[Leaving the train meant leaving one timeline and starting the next. For many Fallen Stars, it was naturally a sad event: It marked their failure to save so many lives. Even if time reset, the fact that they had failed would be carried secretly in their hearts...
But Speck feels no such guilt. They shed the lost lives with ease. When they open their eyes, standing in a rainstorm with petals floating up all around them, Speck does not shed a single tear. Their cosmic eyes sparkle with delight and they begin an elegant, but cheerful, dance to accompany the beauty of the reblooming. The rain means very little to them as they enjoy the scenery. With one twirl in particular, Speck giggles;]
I can feel her magic everywhere. This is truly a lovely world!
(02) Love Dominates
[Speck wastes no time. When they learn that they can get free clothes, Speck immediately gravitates to a lolita-style boutique and begins browsing the wears. They need to look their best if they're going to catch the eye of this world's Satou!
Posing by the mirror, they're vain enough to wave for a stranger's attention.]
What do you think? Is it striking enough? Does it make my hair and eyes look extra captivating? They're my best features after all.
(03) spacetime shrine... ugh.
[Plans to woo their ex's mother aside...
Speck does stop at the Spacetime Shrine early on. Loathe as they are to admit it, they're going to need Yuuto's cooperation for their plans. He is, unfortunately, valuable here. But much to their surprise, Yuuto isn't lingering around the shrine like some lonely shadow. They thoroughly check every inch of it, brows pinching together as their frustration grows.]
Toooouuuu~kuuun! It's Speck. Wherever have you gone, you silly boy? I need your service right away!
[They huff in annoyance!] Have you seen a boy with pale hair here? I need to speak with him immediately.
1
[Tap didn't... really see or talk to Speck in the Facility. There wasn't enough time, everything just, kept happening. It happened so much. Tap regrets not seeing them more, however, and, well. What better way to get Tap's attention than a dance?]
Speck-chan, you're still here too!

[Uai is here to get his dirty shoes all over the clean timeline. He's only just woken up when he heads off to secure his mission; He can be found at the Spacetime Shrine, Shrine of Destruction, Wonderment Amusement Park Lot, and eventually the bottom level Cherry Blossom Tree.
In all cases, Uai is trying to be subtle and sneaky. He avoids the natives and will even try to step out of sight when he sees a Starsand native. When he crosses paths with Fallen Stars, on the other hand, he's much less sneaky.]
... So? Do you still remember?
(02)
[On the evening of May 1st, as May 2nd approaches, Uai finds an empty place in the park for a Reblooming picnic. It's not hard. As popular as these midnight picnics may be, no one else is doing them in the rain.
But here he is. Uai lays a blanket under a tree and takes a seat in the rain, like the absolute weirdo that he is. His clothes and hair don't seem to be getting wet, but that blanket has seen better days. He's drinking warm soup from a thermo when he spots someone in the distance:]
You looking for a picnic to join? Mine has an opening! [come get sick in the rain with uai.]
(03)
[On May 2nd, Uai is being somewhat normal! He's looking through bookstores today. In the morning and early afternoon, he's on the top level. As afternoon becomes evening, he's on the bottom level. In both instances, he's focused on browsing the history and folklore shelves. He can also be found in the fiction section, where he snaps his fingers in disappointment.]
Damn. The series I was reading isn't even written in this timeline? Guess I'll need to make up my own ending... [oh hey, stranger. Uai points to them.] Good ending or bad ending?
i; shrine of destruction!
[ Ushio is still in the magical girl outfit that she had been wearing back at the Facility, the darkness brooch glinting in her hair. ]

[Stella blinks and... ah, this is all familiar, isn't it?
As before, she is quickly swarmed by the hosts of this world, whoa are.... not quite as friendly as they were before. But that just means Stella has to try harder to earn their affection!
Legitimately just catch her in the middle of doing some errand. Ordering food, carrying luggage, dashing through town with a parcel in her arms. Even in the rain. She'll try to wave your way.]
Morning! [Regardless of whether it is or not.]
[b: It's just a feeling that no one knows yet]
[Despite things feeling... normal, they're not, are they? Things have changed. Stella hasn't made a very big footprint in the world, but even she could feel the shift of things. But what could one do other than move on?
All the effort she spent to acclimate to the city was, apparently, gone. So, she had to start over. Which included gathering the local currency.
Which brings her to the city center of Level five! Where Stella can be found... busking? It's a whole performance she's pulling off. It seems the folk here have never seen her Everlight before, or how it can shift into anything Stella needs. Including a guitar she's currently playing.
ii
He was led away momentarily, by the performance being put on at the city center. From where he joins, he stays through the entire thing, and when she's done, applauds. ]
That was really nice.
