【JANUARY EVENT WRAP-UP】
[It's been a long time since the Wishmaker and the Facility infiltrated the city. The physical damage has been repaired and the Rumors have been settled as gracefully as possible, but the fact of the matter remains bleak. Their longtime enemy managed to break passed their defenses and could very well do it again.

ushio's info 🌊 DISTORTIONS, TRACKERS, AND CONDUCTORS
First of all: I helped out with the Conductor-sans and dealt with Zeta-chan. I was also in disguise fer when we were doin' the trade off.
[ Now that she's got that out of the way... ]
The air in the city felt similar ta the Rumor... stuff'n Yuuto's mem'ry. I dunno if that's what caused people ta believe in the Rumors so strongly or if it was anythin' else, but that's somethin' that I could tell.
And - [ for a moment, she looks apologetic ] the spirits that I saw related ta the rumor regardin' Conductor-san's train... they can impersonate people from our lives to an extent. They don't have the memories, but they have a deep desire to actually belong somewhere.
I also know where Zeta-chan's tracker is now and can replicate it. If I'm ever using my ability ta replicate the tracker, I have to be within a 50 meter radius of the object. But it should at least be useful ta figure out how ta stop all the other trackers from workin'.
And... I did learn a few things 'bout Distortions, too, last month. Zeta-chan's the kami of Knowledge, and she told me that a Spirit Pact would help Mu-chan. I think that's somethin' ta keep in mind if another kami becomes Distorted. Another thing ta note -- Uai-san told me somethin', too. I really think that he knows things that we should prob'ly ask him about, but what he told me was that in the state that Mu-chan was in at the time. She didn't have a goal to achieve, and therefore there wasn't anythin' ta manipulate.
I think that's what those three girls were tryin' ta do to Yuuto, sorta. If ya remove the 'goal'... or rather, the desire fer a 'goal'... then the 'distortion' can't be manipulated...? Or somethin' like that. That's just a guess, though. I'm not good at this sorta thinkin', so I'll leave that ta someone else.
But that means that just means that the Wish Maker's the same way.

And before the attacks, Gira-san also told me that Distortion's weren't an issue before. He said that it might have been 'cause faith was in short supply and focused primarily on positive kami.
'Course, that means that there're negative kami. I know that Gira-san's role deals with destruction and darkness, and Conductor-sans balance each other out, but...
[ She trails off. ]

So we still don't exactly know how Yuuto-san got his Distortion under control. But the running theory is that Zeta-chan was telling the truth about the spirit contracts helping and that's why Mu-chan is feeling better... That's great, but that means that none of them are actually cured. I think we all agree that we need to work on that somehow...
Should we be making emergency contracts with Yuuto-san and Tau-chan? Or at least Tau-chan.
And for Wishmaker... Should we be trying to reach out to them and make a contract?
And which of us can dedicate some time to seriously researching this BS and finding a permanent solution?

Apologies for interrupting, but I wanted to offer my services as it pertains to forming contracts with the spirits. I can act as an interpreter in terms of determining whether or not you would be a good fit for them, as well as be a witness to verify that it's taken place.
There's still plenty of work to be done to do better by them, some of which we as Fallen Stars can't do. However, I want to do what I can to clear a path towards a better existence for them.
