🩰 002

Odette wasn't one to allow stagefright to get to her-- not typically. She'd been performing on the stage since she was a small child, after all. So being asked by Rising Stars to perform as an idol should be a no brainier for her.

Well. The type of performance she was used to was entirely different. It's not as though she didn't have the skills for it. Voice training, ballet, were all a part of her repertoire. But acting as a nameless dancer on a stage, versus performing before an audience who were there for you? That one was new...

That night, an anonymous text hits Starnet:

What would you say it means to be an idol?

I wish I could give you a firm answer. I feel like, besides the basics of song and dance... It's like it's about commanding attention. Being there to be seen, and knowing people paid - sometimes just in presence - to see you.

Kinda crazy.

I'm not an idol myself, but one of my clubmates that is one and am familiar with the concept.

But it deals with performing in front of a lot of people and bringing in a crowd to enjoy their music.
