【JULY SETTING UP/MINGLE】
Last Month's Rumors were settled with a bang. The Kami of Love used her power to negate them quietly, telling only the Fallen Stars about her intervention. As the month's festivities began to settle, a new Rumor began to spread through the city. Though, this one was spoken with the confidence of a fact.
On July 1st, right at midnight, an amusement park would appear in the city. Wonderment Amusement Park. It is made by spirit magic and is a chance for the spirits and humans to play together. Every ride and attraction is the result of a spirit's love and passion, with the entire park being spirit-operated. Though a few civilians and their pact spirits volunteer, the event is focused around the spirits themselve.
Wonderment will stay until midnight on July 30th. And then, like a Cinderella of entertainment, the park will vanish into a puff of sparkles.
Well... That's what is supposed to happen. But the Fallen Stars from the timeloop may remember things differently. They know that they saved the park in the last loop by putting on a talent show. They created enough faith and love for the park that it stayed for the entire year.
And that's not the only difference. Last year's Wonderment Park was flat; It took over a huge parking lot. This year's amusement park is in the same parking lot, but it is built upwards into a giant tower of many layers, attractions, and pathways. It looks like a giant castle made of glimmering stones and fun.
That won't be the only difference to this year's Wonderment Park... After all. MirrorMe, the Rumor from the last timeloop, seems to have changed too...
Oh right it's like. the kami of curiosity's month or whatever. go clean the library. But really, it's his fault for being overshadowed by an amusement park.
This month we will be breaking our usual mingle order! This is because Berri may or may not be MIA at the end of the Month. Whoops.
Usually, we start the month with an open mingle full of prompts to respond to. This month, we will be starting the month with this mingle, which is meant to focus on Wonderment's early arrival, and event plotting. The event for this month will be slow moving throughout the month. Once you read the details, I think that you will understand why! The event finale date is still TBA. Then, at the very end of the month, we will have a mingle for the last night of Wonderment Amusement Park... and the question of whether or not the Fallen Stars can save it twice!
Because of this schedule, open posts and catch-alls are encouraged! Please fill the community to your heart's content! I will be pinning this mingle/announcement to make it easier to find, so don't worry about it getting lost. Now then!
On June 30th, all of the Rising Star Agency contracts were finalized. A total of 11 new talent were signed onto the talent roster... and now it's time to hit the ground running! Please note that your character needs to respond to their contract offer here by July 2nd or they will have re-audition!
July 1st may be a Saturday, but all talents are asked to report to the Agency to review their contracts and get their first jobs started.
- For Ai Hoshino, Rika Furude, Odette Stewart, Bonnie, and Pidonus, this will mean beginning to practice for an idol group. They will eventually be split into two groups and have their debut performance on July 30th.
- For everyone else, this means preparing to put on a stage play! The play will be on July 30th and the written summary is "The story of how the Kami of Curiosity came to protect Starsand City." There will be auditions for all parts; Acting, singing, dancing, composing original music, playing in the orchestra, making the set, etc. etc. Even some outside help will be hired.

During the last timeloop, one Rumor haunted the amusement park more than the rest. 'MirrorMe' was the spirit of a mirror house, which showed people their ideal futures... only to then take the dreams away and create awful and honest versions of themselves as obstacles. The spirit ultimately died in order to show the Fallen Stars proof that they were in a timeloop and attempted to give them information for finding the Facility... but alas. We all know how that sacrifice ended.
Those who seek this Rumor will find that things are a bit different. MirrorMe is not just a mirror house. It is the name of a large castle at the center of the Wonderment Amusement Park. Colourful text over the entry way spells out the forming Rumor: "MirrorMe's Castle Reflects Your Happiness!" Everyone is able to enter the first level of the mirror castle, which seems to be a regular mirror funhouse. It's maze-like and can be a bit difficult to navigate, but is ultimately light hearted...
Fallen Stars will mostly have the same experience on the main floor of MirrorMe's funhouse castle. But if they go in while looking for MirrorMe themselves, they will be allowed by a version of their reflection with glowing gold eyes. The Reflection taunts them, whispering about their failures and awful traits in a cruel attempt to make them leave. All Reflections also tell the Fallen Stars to meet them at midnight.
When Fallen Stars return to MirrorMe at midnight (which is when the park closes,) they will find that a staircase at the end of the mirror maze. There is a sign right above the staircase, which explains: "At the end of 24 hours is the dawn of a new day."
Every floor of MirrorMe's Mirror Castle will show the "inner darkness" of one Fallen Star. A copy of them, called a 'Reflection,' will taunt them by putting on display the thoughts and feelings that they don't want known. This Reflection will not just copy their appearance, but their powersets. In order to proceed to the next floor, Fallen Stars must navigate another mirror maze and defeat the Reflection in "battle." This may be a physical fight, verbal, logical, etc.; So long as the characters conquer their darkness.
Event stuff aside!
Wonderment Amusement Park is open from Sunrise until Midnight every day of July. The rides and attractions are constantly changing, so every day is a new adventure waiting to be explored! Spirits operate the rides to be perfectly safe and with the objective of making people happy. Even the Haunted House-style attractions will brighten up if anyone seems scared past the point of having fun. There is food of all sorts, from the familiar to absolutely bizarre. Creativity and imaginations run wild in Wonderment!
Characters are welcome to volunteer at attractions, which will reward them a small amount of Starling but large amount of love from the spirits. Spirits love to collaborate with others to make interesting food and entertainment. Please feel free to go wild with the park and have fun stretching your own creative muscles to make it as magical as possible!

1) Can Kana find any of the Agency staff and talk to them?
2) If yes to the first, if Kana told them after the 16th ICly that the Amusement Park has been holding a play with her name and basically ruining her reputation to like, sue them for defamation, what kind of response would she get. Would she even get a response.

[Stella didn't much question an amusement park sprouting up from nowhere, seemingly overnight. It's a fun adventure!
Also, work. Because as much as Stella wants to enjoy the rides and games, she just keeps stopping herself. When she comes across a spirit in need, of which there are a number here, she can't help but offer her assistance.
So, she's been given the duty of handling one of the many food attractions. The usual fair-going snacks come first: popcorn, ice cream, candies of different persuasions. Then, at some point, the stand starts to put out french fries, fried chicken, too. And puddings, and... salads?
Nobody's complaining, though. There's a line to her stand.]

[ Welcome to the Wonderment Amusement Park. Rinne's been here before! Last year, he was pretty sure having too much fun would result in him being super cursed, but this year... he already has been super cursed. So in this case, he's offered his services in a couple ways.
First, for the Fallen Stars, being a chaperone! After all, going to an amusement park by yourself isn't fun. Rinne's offered himself to go, and has been smiling brighter than he has in the last... well, ever. ]

[ The second, is a little different. Wearing his Haori, he's set up a small booth to attempt coaxing spirits to say hi. His plan's to get a good feel for what they're looking for, and at the same time, get to find the spirit who would become the New Years Dream Rumor.
Even if it's not them... it's still important to him that they have fun.

[ With it being Shugo's month, Ryoko's spending a lot of time at the Shrine of Curiosity! As much as she loves the idea of going to the amusement park, she still hasn't really given up on her self-given goal from April... which is partially why she's decided to give back by spending some time cleaning up the library, putting books back in their correct spot, and most importantly, reading to the spirits. Her stories from the previous year have changed-- while they're still about magical girls who rescue those in need and may or may not be loosely based on "reality", she's changed up the main characters.
It's a story about a timid magical girl named Yu-chan, growing stronger thanks to her friend, an excitable girl named Haru-chan. Stories about the two battling monsters and Yu-chan trying to land the boy of her dreams... which, anyone who continuously listens, might notice that Ryoko completely forgot to describe him or give him a name. Oops. Sorry, Ky-kun, looks like you'll have to wait for another day.
Anyway, she'll be around doing stuff here. Come say hi! ]
ii. amusement park - throughout the month
[ Of course, what the hell, she's not going to ignore the amusement park still. Somehow it looks even more fantastical than last year, and she's looking to check out as much as she can! At least, she says that, but she's very pointedly not necessarily ridden any rides yet.
This is kind of an open prompt come go on an amusement park date with ryoko ]
iii. mirrorme - july 10th/11th
[ At Midnight on July 9th, Ryoko Asakura's floor appears in MirrorMe's castle. Naturally, it's draining, the idea of sticking around afterwards when it was her feelings, raw and unfiltered, terrified her... and so, the moment that it ended, she escaped the castle and immediately holed herself up at home. Around the 10th, she can only really be reached via Starnet, and even then it's a question of whether or not she'll even respond.
On the 11th, she is out again. Once again at the Amusement Park, but this time, mostly sitting on a bench, watching the world go by her. Everyone enjoying themselves, citizens and Fallen Stars alike. Her anxieties probably ruined a friendship or two, and worse off... she still has no real idea on how to help MirrorMe in the end. She gives a heaving sigh, just somewhat blankly watching everything fun happen around her. ]
