Regarding the Rising Star Talent Agency auditions:

How many of us auditioned and how did it go? Did anyone notice anything strange?

I secured an audition myself and got a callback date for June 12th. Should I look forward to meeting anyone?

( Kiritsugu cannot exactly fathom why-- or at the very least, hardly perceives himself interesting enough to be considered a hot commodity at a talent agency. )

Cannot say I noticed anything too strange, myself, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out.

( Beyond being offered a windchime, anyway. He's not thought much about it, though. Will probably end up being left unused in the odd corner of his apartment. He wasn't one to bring much attention to himself, anyway. )

My assumption would be they're weeding through candidates they're on the fence about.

( For him, the comment is neutral. He doesn't mean to insinuate any one candidate is particularly bad, rather, that the pool is overloaded. With numerous applicants, they're bound to want to review them individually.

But that, is of course, speculative on his part. It was his first foray into this industry, after all. )

That would make sense if they had a large candidate pool.

But I counted less than 20 in that group. Already signing two means a 10% pass rate, which is unusually high.

Not quite. For a general audition, it was a very small sample size. I'm surprised that they felt the need to arrange a callback.

Even if they want to market us as "personalities" or "talents", don't you think there's just too little structure for what they want from us?
If it was all singing or dancing or acting, I could understand.
But it seems really... like all they care about is that we're "Fallen Stars".

It was unnatural for sure, because once I left the premises, I was completely fine.
