Welcome to the first part of an on-going Entertainment Plot. This plot will be an on-going chance for non-powered characters to participate in the story of Starsand without engaging in any battles. As this plotline goes on through the months, the characters involved will have the chance to uncover clues and change the city while they rise in both in-universe fame and popularity.

The roleplay portion of this log is complete optional. The first round of auditions can be found over here. Over the next few days, your audition comments will receive a mod reply that summarizes the audition your character underwent. Based on that information, characters may eventually be presented with the option to sign a contract by by July 1st.

You will also receive the date of your character's audition and the other characters who were in their audition group. This log serves as a chance for the characters to mingle in their groups and get to know each other. There will also be a chance to explore the agency and try to gather more information, but please keep in mind that the investigative portion of this plot will take place over a few months.

Because it is long-term, characters who fail this round of auditions are ENCOURAGED to re-audition in July. In future months, auditions will mostly be auto-pass. Right now, the pass/fail system exists so that the agency plot doesn't take over the story's focus right away and to emphasis the IC idea that passing the audition is special.

Characters who sign contracts will have handwave-able agency work moving forward. This will include lessons, practices, and performances. Their first show will be a plot point for July, so please don't have them perform yet!

On June 9th, there was a general audition. Characters were called in one after another to audition. Once they finished their audition, most of them had the option to go right home. There was also a room with a table full of sweets, coffee, and tea; They are welcome to mingle around here until the final audition of the day.

Callbacks start on the 10th.

[Aqua shows up on the day of the audition is casual wear; He's not underdressed, but he's not overdressed either. He has a blue folder with his audition materials slipped into one sleeve. Behind them, Aqua has a very, very small pink recording device: If Starnet devices really can take whatever form you want for them to, then he's absolutely abusing that to make a discreet and useful device.

He's observing the other candidates very closely. He is audition #6 and he will immediately leave to wait outside for Ai. He can't show anyone that they're related by waiting up for her!]

( If nothing else, he's always prompt-- as ever. It's still about an hour before his audition, and Kiritsugu has taken to holing himself up at a table in a corner, cup of tea in hand, as he flips through a binder of sheet music.

For Kiritsugu here, his presence here was something of an ongoing identity crisis. He hadn't any dreams of fame and detested flashiness, but he did feel a need to do something productive with his life. It was merely a job to him, and considering his utter failures in life, hopefully one she could be proud of.

If one wished to join him, he would simply push his seat to the side in acknowledgement, giving them room. )

[Yuuto is the first person called in for an audition… and immediately afterwards, he feel horrible! His head hurts, his vision is blurred, and he feels nauseas.

So of course he smiles brightly and sticks around for the entire audition! He’s not sure if this is an effect of the audition process, but if it is then he won’t just abandon everyone else to feel sick!

Yuuto stays back against a wall in the waiting room, watching the others with a smile on his way. Every time someone exits the audition room, he waves politely to get their attention.]

[ Himeko herself goes to the callbacks in her best outfit suited for the job--which, of course, means no blacks. She's in a bright sky blue outfit that's meant to compliment her eyes--after all, she was described before as having eyes like the sun, so she'll play into that with a sky color theme while keeping things simple; best to highlight her looks rather than diminish them. She needs to be seen, not hidden away. Honestly, she's surprised that a callback was even offered to her in the first place, given everything surrounding her existence at the moment...

She's fairly certain that this whole thing is a 'trap', but it's one she willingly walked in.

Besides, she doesn't need to succeed personally herself; she just needs to make sure that someone is willing to get in there and figure out what's their gameplan, even if she might already have a few ideas already.

The person she sees here is actually a new face to her, so she can't help but shift into business mode as she speaks, polite and courteous as ever: ]

[ Kana is here, of course--callbacks aren't exactly the most common occurrence when it comes to show business, so she's pretty surprised. In fact, she still doesn't trust it, so she doesn't bother wearing anything extravagant; just a simple white shirt and red tie that helps bring out her eyes and plain skirt.

Can't wear anything too distracting; that would only cause her to be less likely to be chosen by the agency.

When she peers around her, she can't help but strike up a conversation, sounding almost bored: ]
