CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:

Inaba Himeko

Your local technology expert and owner of the Fallen Stars community center, Canis Major that is opening on the 15th! More information about that can be found here. She can sometimes be found on site making sure that progress on the building is going smoothly. She also spends a lot of time on the first level.

Hanyuu Furude

Former kami of sin--Hanyuu is trying her best to live a normal life this time around, to see if that will make any difference. She can generally be seen out and about pretty much everywhere, taking her younger form and hiding her horns with hats or her hair unless she is in private with Fallen Stars. She especially tries to make sure to visit the cherry blossom tree on the lowest level as frequently as possible.

Ushio

A shadow of her former self--quite literally. Ushio is a shadow copy of the real Ushio Kofune and has all her memories and feelings. While she's had different experiences now, she's still very much 'Ushio'.

Kana Arima

Girl who's been an actress ever since she was a child and was known for having the ability to cry in ten seconds. Ex-idol.

Mafuyu Asahina

A young teenage girl who is the perfect model student--or at least, that's what she wants you to see. She's a third year in high school and is a new transfer at Starsand. This month, she is primarily stuck to the hip with Kanade, except when she goes to classes.

[ After the meeting, she says her prompt goodbyes and starts making her way out--she needs to go to the lower floor (as that's where she lives, naturally) which is just, yet again, another long thirty minute elevator ride.

She leans against the elevator and she knows that her breathing isn't steady; the panic has settled in her very bones and she needs to calm herself down because having her emotions run rampant like this... it's no good.

She shuts her eyes, unknowing if someone would wind up joining her in the elevator.

Alternatively, people can find Inaba at the cherry blossom tree, attempting to relax a bit there! Sure, they're not having the picnic now, but if she's here, perhaps she can get herself together.

... She's not so sure it's working. ]

[Other than introducing herself and contributing her side of the files she and Break took out of the Facility, Honami's focus was set on bringing her own cut of the food everyone could have, so she had more than enough space to observe how everyone was doing.

Her eyes darted to and from Kanade, Tap and Mafuyu in particular, after having visited them in the days leading up to the meeting, but amid all this, she found herself fixating on Inaba. They'd only had brief encounters and a welfare check, and while that would have been fine, she needed to bridge the gap a bit more.

As such, Inaba will find that she's not really alone after a bit...]

Ah...sorry if I'm intruding. [A voice chimes in -- Honami's. When she opens her eyes, Inaba will find the other girl leaning against the wall near the doors.]

No, you're fine.

[ Inaba doesn't open her eyes -- at least, not immediately as she tries to sort out her feelings and put them into a little boxes, burying it all down like she would with a time capsule. ]

Welcome to the longest elevator ride in all of Starsand.

Is it that bad? This is my first time really stepping onto it...

[At least Shishiba was content to huddle up inside the Phenny charm for a bit. Honami wasn't sure if it would be fine to just let him loose.]

[For her part, Mei was content to soak in all the information she'd gotten and file it away in a journal she'd gotten on the way there. There was a lot she would need to sort through at her temporary lodging; there were distinct differences between what she was handling on her mission and what she was now face to face with here in Starsand. Comparing, contrasting, drawing clear links that gave her an idea of how to confront what was ahead of her -- she'd have to really pour over all this even as she went about her day. Any chance to cover a bit of ground was welcome.

Of course, that didn't mean she could ignore everyone around her. Inaba in particular seemed tenser than usual the whole time, but she didn't really have the space to properly tackle this right away; Mei, thus, waved her off before dealing with her unfinished business.

Once that was taken care of, though, she followed. She'd needed to figure things out on her own -- as much as she wanted to ask for help, Mei did cause the locals some grief with her stunt on the 8th -- but, eventually, she makes her way over to the cherry blossom tree as well.]

[She settles a short distance away from Inaba. Assumes her mantle as a principal first and foremost, but doesn't make eye contact just yet. When she does pick up on Mei's presence, Inaba will find the elder girl staring at whatever was left of the petals.] I hope it isn't a bother for me to have followed you all this way. You looked... well, troubled.

Huh-

[ Inaba straightens herself out as Mei speaks up; it's true that she's troubled, but it isn't as if there's anything she can do about it right now. Not to mention that it isn't something she wants to really talk about. ]

Ah... well, it isn't as if I went home.

Fair enough.

[Mei looks over at Inaba, after a moment's thought. She didn't really bring up what it was...

No sense prying. Maybe in time, she'll talk -- it won't be anytime soon. It just means she'll have to wait longer.]

While I don't have the best idea of what's going on... perhaps I can at least help you with something more immediate?

. . . Ah, well-- there isn't all that much that I need help with at the moment.

[ She doesn't know what else to say, much less do. All of her current projects were mostly things that she'd do by herself, without much outside help. ]

[Having worked hard during the meeting, Samantha decides it would be best to return home. And, seeing as her face has a unique top level problem, that means returning to the lowest level by elevator.

So hi, Inaba.

She steps in and tilts her head towards the other girl with her.]

... Not a fan of heights, Inaba-san?

Nothing like that. I'm just... tired, from that meeting.

Hmmm. I guess you do have extra stakes in all of this, don't you?

[Sam turns away, choosing to focus on the glass windows and the view outside of the elevator.]

Gonna go home and take a bath or something?

[dereban]

[ Inaba flinches for a moment, almost looking like she's caught but then realizes that Sam's probably talking about something else. ]

Ah, yeah...

I'm not heading home yet, though. I wanted to check on the cherry blossom tree again.

[ When the meeting wrapped up, Ryuu immediately figured she should probably head back to work in terms of completing her "maid" duties. Or in her case, her "butler" duties. She was still trying to think of what to do as far as her idea to make it fun went, trying to brainstorm what to do and where to go, and it suddenly hits her.

During the meeting, they were talking about having a picnic at that large tree on the bottom level. It'd be good to make sure everything's clean there, or that someone's making sure the flower petals aren't getting literally everywhere. So after changing back into her butler outfit, she takes the long, long ride down and gets to work, doing a bit of sweeping.

In the process, once again spotting-- what'd she say her name was? ]

Inaba? [ Right. Kinda... holding onto her broom for a second. ]

Comin' out to check on the tree?

Yeah.

[ She's trying to stabalize her own emotions by putting her focus on the much more important things. ]

If something's happened here, then having a picnic will mean nothing.

Yeah. I don't really get any of this, but... I'm guessin' if they haven't made a move yet, they really don't know we know anythin' huh?

[ Although, when Ryuu thinks about it for a second... ]

Guess it'd mean nothin' for savin' the tree, but we'd get a good time and good food out of it. I ain't ever had a picnic before, so I dunno.

[Sometime after the meeting, Tap finally has casual clothes again! And, to celebrate, what better than to go to the bakery to load up on sweets!

But as Tap arrives to Mikale's bakery, she spots a familiar face.]

Hanyuu-chan, Hanyuu-chan! You're here too?

Yes! I wanted to get some creampuffs, actually. . .

Oh! Me too! Me too me too! Do you want to eat together? The cream puffs here are so delicious!

Of course! And it's true... but there's no such thing as a bad cream puff.

[It seems things have finally settled down, for the most part. The meetings and casual gatherings have come and gone, and with Mafuyu heading off to school most days now, that leaves Kanade feeling... a bit restless. She's aware of how empty her room feels without her computer setup. Her computer itself? Gone. Synths? Gone. All the mixing equipment... it makes her feel a little guilty, too, after all the help that was given to her in gathering all that equipment. She knows it couldn't possibly be her fault that all of it was left behind in the time loop, but still...

Well. Anyway. She'd put in an order for a new synthesizer a few days ago - just the synth for now, because she knows it'd be a pain for everything to come at once and leave a maze of boxes outside and inside their new home. She'd already been making a checklist of what else she'll need, but for now, the synthesizer will do.

So, good news? The synth arrived today! Even better, it arrived at a time when Kanade was awake, in the late afternoon just as the sky began to turn colors with the oncoming evening. Bad news? Kanade... is having a bit of a hard time. Fresh in its box and the padded delivery box, the package is almost as long as poor Kanade is tall, and that means she's having a bit of a hard time getting it into the house, trying to lift it as best as she can so she's not dragging it too badly, while also making sure the front door stays open.

It's a bit of an amusingly pathetic struggle to see, and it's this sight that Mafuyu will stumble upon as she finally returns home from school.]

[ Mafuyu walks in and just

sees this. ]

[ Girl, do you need help. ]

[Ah, she looks completely pathetic right now, doesn't she?]
