[APRIL EVENT] the city log
IC Introduction
For characters who did not open the door in their dream, then congratulations! You've woken up in your beds! But you've also been woken up by spirits. They are frantically buzzing around, flashing their lights brightly to get attention. The spirits are so desperate that they use all of their power to appear bright and make a ringing noise, then vanish and have to be replaced by another spirit. They are specifically harassing the Fallen Stars and trying to lead them to where their kidnapped friends once slept. When they reach the victims' houses, they will find a warm metal key on the ground somewhere with a pitch black envelope. Its contained letter is written in starry white ink:
"Come to the trial and witness the birth of a new kami."Welcome to the 'City Side' of the event! This portion of the event will run from APRIL 15th until APRIL 20th. On April 20th, a new log will go up and the setting will be drastically changed. Please look forward to it! There will also be a slight update on Monday, April 17th, which will affect this log.
In the meantime, this portion of the event will cover the 8 hours during which Fallen Stars have no idea how to reach their kidnapped friends. The victims went missing at 6am in the morning and the next update will occur at 1pm. You might be thinking "what do we even do here?" Well, good news. This part of the event is also split into four useful segments to help push your characters along! [SEGMENT ZERO - STARNET suffering edition]- As stated on the Facility Side, the kidnapped Fallen Stars will be able to receive Starnet messages, but not send them! If a player wishes to receive messages, then they can make a toplevel here. Any messages sent here cannot be replied to, but it can sure twist the knife. Have fun.
[SEGMENT ONE - STARNET CATCH-ALL]
- A catch-all for characters to make Starnet posts regarding the missing Fallen Stars. Please keep event related Starnet discussions here for... reasons! There is a chance of these going public later: Be warned.
[SEGMENT TWO - SCENES OF THE CRIME / INVESTIGATION CATCH-ALL]
- The spirits of Starsand City are quite frantically trying to get the attention of Fallen Stars. They will try to lead the Fallen Stars to the homes of the missing Fallen Stars, which is where the warm keys and letters can be found. Please refer here to declare who is holding keys. There is also an investigations toplevel here, where you can ask OOC questions to help aid character investigations.
[SEGMENT THREE - THE RED DOOR]
- Any character who thinks to check the Spacetime Shrine will be able to find something very out of place. If they climb to the top of the internal staircase, they will find that the black door at the top of the shrine is beginning to crack. Between the cracks and missing portions of the crystal door frame, they can seem a familiar red door. It is possible to damage the door to further the cracks.
[SEGMENT FOUR - MEETING]
- At 10am, a meeting will be held at the Shrine of Love. This will be a chance to discuss findings and plan the next move. This is an open mingle for discussion and emotional recovery.
