Hiya! This is a completely open post for all the shenanigans my characters will be getting up to this month. If you wanted to do a thread with me and wasn't sure where to do so, hit me up here! If I can think of an open prompt I'll post it here, otherwise hit me up if you want something closed! Feel free to reach out through the Discord server, or PM perpendicular.

Under the cut are blurbs on who they are! i've been dead this month so no tls, i'll probably just put up stuff if necessary

- Ryoko Asakura, Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan (CRAU)

Ryoko Asakura, as opposed to the OU version of her, is meant to be a normal girl who dotes over her friends and acts as a "mother" to her best friend. Constantly worrying, yet constantly teasing her in an attempt to bring her closer with her crush. She likes those friends and she likes oden, and she's very normal about both of them. On top of this, she's a CRAU from soulgemmed; a Puella Magi Madoka Magica based RP, so she's a magi herself. Her magic revolves around her Closed Space, faint spacial distortion, and a general need to keep those close to her safe. She can be scary, but is always well-meaning and always loving.

Also, she has a cute palmtop tiger girlfriend.

- Rinne Rokudo, Kyoukai no Rinne

Rinne Rokudo is a shinigami (kind of). A half-human half-shinigami, Rinne spent most of his time assisting spirits in passing on to the Circle of Reincarnation and eliminating the debt that his father put in his name. That debt pretty much drained his finances, so he's been poor for a long, long while. He can come across as cool and collected, but he's generally a huge dork, especially when receiving free things. In Starsand, he spends most of his time working at the Shrine of Sin under Hanyuu, and dresses semi-normally thanks to Mafuyu and Kanade's efforts. He's also presently moonlighting as an interpreter for those who can't communicate with spirits.

- Twilight / Loid Forger, Spy x Family

Twilight is a spy from Westalis, in a cold war-esque era where he's attempting to quell tensions between his country and the neighboring Ostania, trying to prevent an all out war. He's presently a part of "Operation Strix", which sees him take up the mantle of "Loid Forger", a psychiatrist living in Ostania with a wife and child. After adopting his new "daughter" Anya, and his "wife" Yor, he's tasked with turning Anya into an imperial scholar in order to get close to known warmonger Donovan Desmond. While he keeps his identity as a spy a secret, unbeknownst to him, Anya is a psychic and Yor is an assassin. They live peacefully while trying to maintain their secret lives.

Except, in Starsand, Twilight now knows who Yor is.

- Karin Kitano, Original

Karin Kitano was the daughter of a yakuza family's head. Having followed his lead her entire life, she's got a rough exterior, hardened by the people around her yet sculpted by her father's kindness towards her. In her last year of high school, her family was hit by a rival clan, completely wiping them out. As she protected them as much as she could, while she was close to death, she heard a voice offering her a gift. Having taken it, she's become a wanderer. A magical girl frozen in time, she maintains that brutal mentality of protecting those close to her at any cost, and treats the town she protects as her territory. Vicious to others, kind to her followers.

- Miyuki Shirogane, Kaguya-sama: Love is War

Miyuki Shirogane is the former student council president of Shuchiin Academy, a highly prestigious school in Tokyo, Japan. An extremely hard worker, he was known for his sharp, intimidating eyes and his reliability as the number one student in his year. His hard-working nature was mostly to impress Kaguya Shinomiya, to become a man worthy of standing next to her. In reality, he's trying his hardest to keep things together, and is kind of a huge dork. Without spoiling too much, the two have finally come together as one, and Shirogane has left Shuchiin for Stanford.

- B.B. Hood, Darkstalkers

Baby Bonnie Hood is, on the surface, a sweet and innocent girl. Every much the spitting image of sweetness, her face hides a cruel and violent hunter underneath. B.B. is a Dark Hunter, tasked with killing monsters known as Darkstalkers either as protection or for the sake of research, all for the sake of profit. She's extremely greedy, quick to pick up a gun, and incredibly deceptive. Like Ryoko, Bonnie is a CRAU from soulgemmed, and is a magi as well. While she still occasionally tries to keep her innocent side up, she otherwise has aged a couple years. She still wears the hood and cape occasionally, but she's now less cruel and more jaded, having recently learned the truth about what being a magi means in terms of her humanity.

I've been doing a bit of research! I think if we wanted to do anything, it's best if we go to the first level. That way the spirits won't be around to screw with us!

I haven’t explored the first level as much as I wanted to, so that sounds perfect!

I wouldn’t want any spirits to get involved anyway.

[ Well, that was silly.

The day after... whatever the hell that was, Ryoko decides to go for a visit, this time with a cloth bag. Looks like she packed a lunch! She's a bit on the exasperated side, but that's just in her nature anyway. She's worried about her friend, after all!

When she gets to where she needs to be, she calls out, still at least trying to be upbeat. ]

Hi! This is Asakura-san of Ryoko's Delivery Service. I've got something here for Yumeno Yuuto!

[ Hope his head doesn't hurt too badly. ]

[Yuuto is definitely suffering from a hangover. He can be heard whimpering and groaning pathetically in one of the back rooms, even when he's the type to try to mute his own suffering. And yet, despite Yuuto clearly being In Suffering, the Mama who answers the door looks like she's on cloud nine.]

Ah, you're here for Yuu-kun? Right this way! He's on a couch in the room over there! [This will be when Satou exits the thread and lets Ryoko go visit Yuuto, who otherwise can't get the door himself. She's gonna prance off to get him some water and meds. it's so nice to have yuuto home again! but at what cost.]

[loveedition]

[ Wow, he absolutely... sounds like he's feeling the hangover. Well, that's to be expected. Ryoko politely smiles at the overly cheerful Satou and nods once she's directed to the room.

...Honestly. Ryoko gets it.

She very lightly knocks on the door, and once he's aware, Ryoko slowly opens it up. ]

H-Hey. Are you still alive in here?

[spacialeyes]

[Is he? Yuuto has felt like he might be dying for the past few hours. Since he is incapable of getting sick normally, Yuuto has never needed to feel this physically horrible. He groans in response and tries to sit up to be polite, but his body feels so heavy.

Like a polite dumbass, he does try to pull a smile on his face and waves.]

Ryoko. I'm sorry for the trouble. [He tries to bow to show he's sincere!

and nearly topples off of the couch instead.]

[ What a fun couple of days it's been! Low key and low stakes, kinda funny, but boy what a time it's been. Ryoko's been having fun going back and forth to make sure Yuuto's okay, hanging out with Ushio, and altogether... trying to push any wayward thoughts out of her head.

Things had been... weird for her, but it's only her. At least, she thinks so.

Either way, when she returns home, she's carrying a couple bottles of "shrine offerings" with her. Carefully opening the door and bringing them in. ]

Hey! I'm back!

[ Just so she knows! ]

[preparade]

Hiii! Did he survive the night, or are we down one Kami?

[ a totally normal reaction to yuuto getting drunk. taiga’s laying on the floor in the living room, playing some platform of game about plumbers on a handheld. very important business, of course! ]

[loveedition]

[ Ah, there she is. Playing a videos game! Well, that's fine.

Things... are fine. They're okay.

Ryoko just keeps a smile on her face, probably given away by the clinking of bottles. ]

He survived, but I found out that he wrote you into his will. I forgot to ask if I was in there.

[ Sheepishly, she decides to mention: ]

He um... decided to offload his "offerings" onto me. So.

[preparade]

Aww, so I have to wait for the cookies? I guess I could go get them prematurely… You’ll probably get something a lot cooler than cookies.

[ the sound of bottles catches taiga’s attention, and she sits up to try and see what ryoko is putting away. she’s nonchalant, not picking up on ryoko’s bizarre mood. ]

Is he allowed to give that stuff away? I always bring chocolates, I never even thought about alcohol… He better not be giving away my offerings!

Wait, have you even had alcohol before?

[ Ryoko knows she's being dumb about this. She's seriously aware. But... Yuuto's still recovering, and she isn't 100% sure about asking Inaba about this...

Who could she even talk to...

...she felt dumb for asking herself that too, really. As she sends a message to Fauna. ]

Hey. Are you working today?

[Fauna's device rings, and she pulls over on her bike so she can check it...

Ryoko?

The response is remarkably quick.]

[ Late at night, unable to really get any sleep, her mind just keeps swirling. There's an aspect to everything she's going through that bugs her, and she's been mulling over talking to the one person who might understand.

...finally. To hell with it. ]

Inaba-san? You awake?

[dereban]

[ Immediate: ]

Yep.

What's up?

[loveedition]

[ sheesh. Go sleep already.

...her mom side thinks, but naturally, she doesn't type out. ]

I can't sleep. Would you mind some company for a bit?

[dereban]

Let me save what I'm working on real quick.

Did you want to talk in person?

[ ...so. At this point, Ryoko knows what she has to do. After basically acting as a tornado of bad feelings, after... everything with Fauna, she'd need to talk to Taiga. Otherwise, nothing would change.

Despite that, when she got there... Taiga hadn't gotten back from meeting with Yuuto. Nerves wound up getting the best of her, and she... decided to go sleep. She'd gotten exhausted.

It was all nerves. What was she supposed to say, exactly? Was this something that she needed to do? So, she finally decided to check in with Inaba.

...and when she started back home, she felt like an idiot. Of course she needed to. How could they move forward when her heart was so heavy? Ugh...

Well. Best to just, regroup, try to sleep, and come up with a plan of attack for the next day. Right? ]

[preparade]

[ After what became an incredibly heavy conversation with Yuuto, Taiga had been hoping her mind would clear up on the walk home. It hadn't, and she still felt like a bundle of nerves when Ryoko was gone. How were they both missing each other like this? Taiga knew that if their conversation didn't continue, it wouldn't ever. She had to stay awake.

Which is why, when Ryoko returns home she'll find Taiga sleeping with her head on the table, lights on and TV sitting at a 'Continue???' screen. Her half eaten parfait, brought home from the diner, is also on the table, though it looks to mostly be yogurt.

Taiga starts to stir at the sound of the door opening. ]

[loveedition]

[ ...

Well, of course it'd be like this. She must have waited up... she probably should have told her it was okay to go to bed if she didn't make it home when she said she would.

Part of her thought to do just that... but. She couldn't ignore any of this. ]

Honestly...

[ Ryoko sighs, as she decides to start tidying up, turning the TV off. She must've fallen asleep partway through... ]

[preparade]

[ There's... movement going on around her? Was it morning already? No, it couldn't be... Taiga lifts her head with a yawn, realising the lights were still on.

Ah, right. Ryoko. ]

Mmm... hey. Everything okay...?
