Hence why Hanyuu puts up the big sign at the bakery - it may be devoid of the owner, but that doesn't mean that she won't take care of things there as well as using her powers as a kami to have her voice reverberate throughout the upper levels.

There is no sign of the childish tones that those may be familiar with as she speaks.

Instead, it is replaced with clear power, and a serious edge to them, booming like a broadcast through a megaphone:

"Fellow Fallen Stars, citizens of Starsand, if you can hear my voice, then I implore you to help. I wish to find a solution to our current issue, so I would like to work together with all of you.

We shall meet at the bakery to discuss the more intricate details of the current situation; there will be food provided to everyone. I will also offer my personal protection here as well.

There is no need for those of you to get involved if you do not wish for it. However, I would like for you all to listen, at the very least."

That is all she can ask for, really.

And of course, her words ring true: the bakery is open for this purpose as Hanyuu stands tall in her miko garb with serious, but determined eyes, feet several inches off the ground.

But as promised, there is a variety of food as well, stemming from actual meals that could be found for a picnic to cute desserts such as creampuffs.

The name that I go by is Furude Hanyuu.

[ It's clear by the awkward way she says it that while it is her name, and the one that she's gone by for years, it isn't the only name she has. ]

I'm... a rather weak kami from another world. I have flight, as you've seen, but I can also manipulate time and space for a short period of time. My abilities are also related to being able to grant the prayers of others through belief.

I also can create barriers and utilize many of the gifts that were crafted under my name.

There are other things that I can do as well, but if I spoke all of them, we would be here for a while. But the ones I've spoken of are the ones that are important right now. At least, in terms of supernatural abilities.

I'm a Succubus - a demon of lust and desire. Charm and manipulation are my somewhat obvious realms given that, but the cooler stuff is flying at a decent speed, teleportation (only for myself, though, can't really bring people with me), and not needing to sleep.

More usefully, though, I'm a Bard - basically, besides being decent at guessing my way through things and gathering stories, I'm capable of turning performances such as music into magic. Light healing, but the big one is enhancement of others' abilities. I also know how to use quite a few weapons in normal combat.

Yeah. Basically, music has a natural ability to enhance morale... I just can channel that to a supernatural degree, to enhance the strikes of my allies, confound my foes, stuff like that.

Knowing how to do a lot of things is very, very useful, to say the least.

[Nerves cause her to scrunch her shoulders a bit. She doesn't sound very confident, which is perhaps strange given the weight of her words;]

Some people have called me a god before, so uh. Maybe I'm... sort of a kami? I'm not entirely sure yet. I protect magical girls, but if anyone needs a hand here then, uh. I'll... I'd like to do my best for you, please.

[She plucks a mushroom that was growing out of the top of her head and throws it to the nearest garbage can. It misses and she has to go over and drop it in herself.]

[Madoka watches as she puts the mushroom away. She looks to be fine, so maybe it's a world difference thing? After all, Madoka used to think of witches as cute girls who flew on broomsticks.]

Did you grow those with magic?

Not on purpose! [She smiles, all awkward bluster.] I screwed up a spell in the first week of class and they just started growing. It's worse when it's dark or rainy, but they grow pretty much all the time. So it's not like all witches where I'm from have mushrooms, it's just a me thing.
