Hi! Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, I'm still new here, but does Starnet have anywhere to post stuff for people to browse later?

I mean, free phones, phone service, and not-Discord is pretty sweet, but without internet pages there is no DeviantArt or AO3, nowhere to publish my fanfics! No Online Encyclopedia either, so I can't go down rabbit holes when researching for my fanfics! Where do I go for this sort of content?

Unfortunately, Starnet is just an instant messaging service. Hypothetically, you could make a channel to post your stories, but the formatting would be quite different from an internet forum.

If you'd want to publish your "fanfics" or do any sort of research, you'd mostly have to do it the old fashioned way--by printing out books and going to the library to look for things to research on.

Guess I shouldn't be too surprised, though. I mean, you don't really see Isekai where the protag gets sent to a world with internet.

Oh well, if I can do webcomics and be successful, I can totally do doujinshi. Just gotta find that library to get that wiki dive fix.

Any of the spirits there can help you. Just show or tell what you want for them to chronicle and they will create the book.

I've done a good number for the host club back home. Was a great way to get money for the club as girls love that kind of thing.

I was hoping of maybe making things here and publishing them at some point, but it's much harder when you lack the money for once.

But I hope we are able to find a way and maybe we could discus what we are into.

"Original" web novels used to be my thing. I haven't seen anything like Zhongdian Literature.
I think research has to be done the old fashioned way, with physical books.

But enough about that. I'm wondering about those web novels of yours! What kinda stuff did you write about?

I'm not sure what's around for field research, but I haven't explored much.

It was a stallion novel full of clichés called "Proud Immortal Demon Way". The setting is kinda low fantasy with cultivation. The half demon protagonist overcomes a ridiculous amount of hardships, then becomes an OP Demon Emperor with a huge harem.
A lot of it involved the protagonist fighting enemies, getting revenge and gaining wives.

Ohhhhhhh, fanfic. I think I used to do that kind of thing. I wrote one really long one one day on a whim because I wanted to show how goffick I was and because I wanted to test a few brainwashing techniques. It wasn't even for a series I liked.

Anyway everyone fucking loved it so I guess my brainwashing works.

What series are you trying to write fanfic for anyway? Princess Piggles? That's a real popular one these days.

Never heard of Princess Piggles, but I have done a bunch of fanfic for my fav ship. I know it might sound like a crack ship but Naruto x Garfield are so cute together and no one else makes content for that so I make it myself.

Other than that, I write for a variety of different fandoms. I've even got some fics about my folks from home. Mostly AUs.

Princess Piggles is like, the biggest anime back home. Probably because some kind of prodigy animator worked on it and made it the best magical girl show he could. I've never seen it, but everyone else
