So I wanted to humanize Kallamar in a way that might make people wonder if he's a Deep One from Innsmouth (i.e. human, but with shark teeth and gills in addition to lungs). Is this acceptable, or would I have to go the full humanization route?

Anyway, I remember former gods having to work their way up to becoming Kami was a thing, but I don't remember the exact process. Can you remind me or send me a link to an info page that explains this? Also, are there explicit power nerfs in place other than "don't bring game breaking powers?"
