[ As she thinks of her friends, something strange happens. As they walk up the stairs to her typical club room, after the first flight, two girls pass by them. Both wearing casual clothing, one has long flowing green hair and an excitable expression capped off with a toothy grin, the other being dragged along with light brown hair that goes to her back, a slightly nervous expression on her cute, youthful face.
As they pass, they wave to the two without the green-haired girl dropping conversation, and soon they're out of sight.
Ryoko pauses to smile. ]
Tsuruya-san and Asahina-san. Our senpai. Tsuruya-san and I became friends through competing, trying to figure out who the cutest friend is. I don't think we ever resolved it, but I still think Nagato-san is the cutest, any day of the week. Still, Asahina-san was still precious. She really helped her where I couldn't, and always seemed soft and gentle with her.
--Mm. The last memory I had of them was attending their graduation. I wound up crying like a baby on both of them. I guess that would've been last year.
