[His own breathing begins to even out. Leo is left exhausted from his emotional outburst, but in the void once filled with ugly emotions is relief. Selfishly, some happiness takes root there too. Elliot is warm. He isn't cold and he isn't clouded in the scent of blood anymore. Leo knows that this isn't a dream, but it feels unreal enough to be one. He's grateful for it.
The stares of those passing by mean nothing anymore. With the two of them resting against each other, the strange new world and expanding universe mean very little to Leo. He's reminded of the days when they would sit in front of the piano and compose music together. It's as close as Leo ever got to feeling at home and, though he realizes it may be temporary, it's nice to be back. Eventually, he will have to return to being 'Glen' and acknowledge the bigger picture. But at least now he can leave 'Leo' with Elliot when that time comes. Perhaps not the best solution, but it finally brings him peace.
Still not moving, Leo mumbles stubbornly:]
I don't want to explain anymore. You'll have to wait.
