The gist of the situation seems to be that there's some kind of group merely known as "the Facility" because of the incident in June. They make Kami out of kids with a tie to the spirit world so that they can control them easier. It seems that They're interested in the Light Kami, but we're not sure of why yet. There also seems to be... some kind of creature going around granting "wishes" to vulnerable Spirits and turning them into Rumors, so that's something to be wary of.
